Introducing Beach Bar Rum by Sammy Hagar & Rick Springfield.


In 1978 Sammy Hagar wrote the song 'I've Done Everything For You", in 1981 he turned it over to his buddy Rick Springfiled and it became a huge hit. One night over some Beach Bar Rum mojitos Sammy asked Rick why he thought his version was so well received and he responded "Cause I'm better looking than you" . After a good laugh he told Sammy put my face on this rum and I'll make that a hit too. Sammy accepted the challenge and their partnership in Beach Bar Rum was born.

COCKTAIL RECIPES 

SAMMY’S 5150

INGREDIENTS:

¾ oz. Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum
¾ oz. Sammy’s Red Head Macadamia Rum
Soda or Tonic Water (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add ingredients & ice to shaker. Pour into rocks glass filled with ice. Add soda if desired. Garnish with lime or orange slice and possibly a mint leaf.

"Santo Rojo"or " Red Saint"

1 oz. Santo Tequila

1/2 ounce red head SBBR

1 ounce fresh lime juice

1/2 ounce of Cointreau or triple sec

1/2 oz sammys Beach Bar Rum

Put all ingredients over ice in shaker and shake it up.
Poor straight up into classic martini, or champagne flute or (any fine crystal small glassware) with 1/2 fine sugar1/4 cinnamon (splash a little vanilla extract into a plate, dip the glass in extract, and dip into cinnamon sugar mixture)
