Introducing Beach Bar Rum by Sammy Hagar & Rick Springfield.

In 1978 Sammy Hagar wrote the song 'I've Done Everything For You", in 1981 he turned it over to his buddy Rick Springfiled and it became a huge hit. One night over some Beach Bar Rum mojitos Sammy asked Rick why he thought his version was so well received and he responded "Cause I'm better looking than you" . After a good laugh he told Sammy put my face on this rum and I'll make that a hit too. Sammy accepted the challenge and their partnership in Beach Bar Rum was born.

COCKTAIL RECIPES 

SAMMY’S COCONUT MOJITO

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ oz. Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum
1 ½ oz. Coconut cream
2 oz. Coconut water
1 ½ teaspoon Brown Sugar
½ oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. Soda water
6 to 8 Mint leaves
Toasted Coconut flakes on the rim

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add a little coconut cream on a plate and place the rim of the glass on it, then place the rim on the toasted coconut flakes. Muddle mint leaves, brown sugar, and lime juice . Fill with ice, then add Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. Top with coconut water and a bit of coconut cream. Garnish with a mint sprig.
